About Birmingham Mom Collective
The goal of Birmingham Mom Collective is to provide resources, connect, and encourage moms, parents, and grandparents in the Birmingham area. We enjoy connecting online through providing guides to our city, sharing personal stories from our 40+ local-mom writers, engaging with our followers on social media, and meeting face-to-face at one of our premier events. We are Birmingham, Alabama’s top digital parenting resource, we are truly honored to serve our great community.

Why WE Love Birmingham
1. The food is incredible… we have the best BBQ, tacos, pizza, and also award winning chefs.
2. It’s very green and we sit at the base of the Appalachian Mountains
3. You can get everywhere in about 20 minutes… we have the big city comforts with still being a pretty small town. Plus we are only about 2 hours from Nashville, 2.5 hours from Atlanta, and 5 hours from the beach!
4. We have amazing parks, playgrounds, farmers markets and lots to do!
5. Football is KING! Here you are either Alabama or Auburn.

Birmingham Mom Collective in The Community
Holiday Drive-In with Santa was an event we created last year out of the pandemic-crazy and trying to find a way to have an in-person event while keeping everyone safe. Our local drive-in had just opened, and we thought it was a great opportunity to create this fun, Christmas-themed event with Santa and local businesses. It was a huge success! It sold out, and many people told us that it was their favorite holiday event. This year we are doing it again on Sunday, November 21 and we’ve already had a great response. This event features swag bags (for the first 100 cars in the gate), a $10 snack voucher (for a popcorn, drink, and candy) provided by UAB Callahan Eye Hospital, an opportunity to meet and take a photo with Santa, a parking space to watch ‘A Christmas Story’, and a chance for families to meet with local businesses.
What do you love most about being a Sister Site Owner?

Getting to know so many amazing people in our city and experience Birmingham in new ways that I learn from other moms!

I have loved my years as a site owner! Putting my business skills to use in a way that encourages other moms and impacts a community has been huge for me! I’ve had so much joy working alongside Julie and knowing what we have worked to build has become a valuable resource to the families of Birmingham, Alabama.
